Job Description

National Sales Executive

Are you passionate about online and magazine sales and advertising? Would you like to be part of the first online magazine fully dedicated to sustainable design and architecture? Would you like to be on the ground floor of building a new advertising client base? Are you one of the greatest at closing phone sales?

Then Diisyn wants to talk to you. We are a family of interlinked websites owned by a new online media and e-commerce company, SpaceEverything, LLC, that has re-conceptualized online advertising. We are looking for a few exceptional sales people to develop and grow our online advertising base. You will be working with national advertisers who are interested in aligning themselves with green branding, connecting with the LOHAS consumer, and gaining a greater presence on the web. Cross platform advertising is a definite benefit and you will have the flexibility to creatively build the best advertising solution for each client.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, hard-working, web-savvy, advertising sales professional with a serious commitment to their own success. Experience in either magazine or internet ad sales is required. We are looking for people with great sales and marketing instincts who enjoy making telephone sales and have proven their ability to close sales. We want for people who like people and who have friendly, helpful personalities and who enjoy introducing new products to business people, solving problems for them and get a rush from closing the deal. We believe in forming business relationships for life and we want sales people who live this and will bring this energy to every contact.


Job Responsibilities

This is not a telemarketing job and telemarketers should not apply. The brand strategist is responsible for advertising sales in regional, national and international markets. The job requires both media consulting and closing skills. Offerings include advertising sales for the magazine, banner ads, video, and more. We will train you on the various offerings and how to creatively develop packages or programs that best solve an advertiser’s need. We will provide leads and back office support, but you will also identify and pursue opportunities to increase sales of current and new offerings. You will handle ad sales and coordinate inventory management with us. We will provide weekly coordination, but you will have the flexibility to determine your own schedule and hours.


Compensation

100% commission sales. We will pay you 33% of all your net sales and renewals. With initial sales and renewals, potential earnings in the first 12 months of $60 – $100K are possible. Commissions will be paid monthly and can be set up as direct deposit payments.
